Beauty 1 year ago Face Oils to Favorite
I feel like everywhere I turn there’s an amazing new oil that all of my friends are raving about that I can’t wait to get my hands on. I don’t know if it’s the idea of mixing lotions and potions, but there’s something really fun about incorporating face oils into your beauty regime. Not only is it fun, but it works! I started using face oils months ago and I’ve seen a big improvement in the way my skin feels. I mix oils with my foundation, my primer and even my moisturizer. Because my face and skin feels different nearly every day depending on environmental, stress and hydration factors, I have a few oils which are in continued rotation that I wanted to share with you.
I love my nightly ritual of putting on oil just before bed. I keep my favorites on the nightstand so I don't forget.
This was my very first night time oil that was suggested by my best friend. This oil smells like sleep. I absolutely love it! It's perfect for evening out skin tone and waking up your face for the next morning. I would not suggest using it every night. Use 2-3 times a week.
The smell of this oil will make you feel excited to cozy up for a good night of sleep. This is a better option to use daily and it is a bit friendlier on the budget.
Calling all lavender lovers! Rodin recently sent me their popular oil and I'm officially hooked! It's a bit lighter than the other two night oils and the smell is heavenly.
How you start your day can leave a lasting impression on your mood, energy and overall well being. After cleaning my face, I will either mix these oils with my moisturizer or put them on top. I've always been told to press oils in to your face, don't rub. And give your skin the precious time and focus that it deserves by really massaging your face.
This is hands down without a doubt my current favorite oil for day, night, afternoon. I may or may not be using it a bit too much! Ha! I am obsessed.
La Mer introduced me to this amazing oil years ago and it's been on my daily regime since. This oil is much lighter than the rest and mixes in really well with foundation.
This is a new oil that I recently added to the mix. I use it on problem areas such as my neck.
Finding a brightening serum that actually works can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Because I love the Sunday Riley sleep oil so much, I have a good feeling about this new investment. Fingers crossed I start seeing a difference. I just started using it this week.
