Beauty 7 months ago Beauty Resolutions You Should Make For 2018
Okay, Okay, I know I said I wasn’t making resolutions this year, however, there are a few goals with my beauty regime that I really want to stick to this year. I cannot tell you how many nights I fell asleep with my make-up still on or skipped plucking or flossing. To be quite honest, I am the absolute worst when it comes to making time for self-care. So I’ve created a quick list of a few things I’m trying to take on for 2018.
1. Wash Your Face Before Bed
I might not have the energy to wash my face before bed every single night, however I should, at the very least, give it a good wipe to clean up the pollution.
Removes all traces of dirt, oil, and make-up (even waterproof mascara.)
2. Protect with SPF
I was pretty good about never going in the sun without SPF and keeping my face covered with a hat while at the beach. I’m hoping to continue the routine with my new SPF for face.
This moisturizing SPF is sweat proof which makes it perfect to wear on a run.
3. Exfoliate Regularly
As wonderful as moisturizing can be, it’s equally important to regularly exfoliate your skin to get rid of dead skin cells.
This was one of my favorite products from 2017. Bobbi Brown gifted me these buffing grains in September, and I cannot imagine not having them in my vanity.
4. Get A Good Night’s Sleep
I know myself and when I don’t get good sleep everything goes haywire. From puffy eyes to feeling bloated, if I don’t catch enough Zzz’s, I won’t feel my best.
The ultimate 'blackout curtain' for a deep sleep. Won’t cause any skin creasing or bed head either.
5. Don’t Forget About Your Body
You know that amazing feeling after you’ve taken a really nice, long shower? At least once a week, I try to treat myself to a little extra scrub and exfoliate my entire body. It’s the absolute best!
This scrub leaves your skin soft without being too aggressive. I love the subtle rose scent it leaves behind.
6. Mask It Up
I’m a huge believer in weekly hair mask treatments. As someone who gets highlights regularly, I like to leave in a mask on my hair while working out or sleeping.
This is hands down my favorite hair mask. It's smells like heaven and won't leave a greasy film after washing.
